Surrogacy
Surrogacy takes place when another women carries and gives birth to a baby for the couple who are having difficulty conceiving. She then carries and delivers the baby for the couple.
There are two types of surrogates:
Tradition surrogate: – It’s the women who gets artificially inseminated with the father’s sperms. She then delivers the baby for the couple to raise.
A tradition surrogate is the biological mother of the baby.
Gestational surrogates: – It is performed through In vitro fertilization (IVF), where embryos are created in lab and transferred to the surrogate mother. Through this method, the baby delivered has the genetics of the original parents.
Who is suggested surrogacy?
- Women with uterus related medical problems.
- Women with conditions that make pregnancy impossible or life threatening.

Ovulation Induction involves taking medications to stimulate the development of female eggs in the ovaries.
IUI
Intra Uterine Insemination is a treatment used for treating infertility. It involves placing male sperms directly inside a women’s uterus to facilitate fertilisation.
ICSI/IVF
